Weekly Blog Bytes: Searching For Consistency

I’ve been blogging for years now, but I never had any consistency for writing the posts…

How often should I blog? I’ve asked myself this question many times, and I always wanted to blog as much as possible. However, at the same time, I simply couldn’t always keep myself to do this. When I look at the archives, you’ll see that I’ve been trying to write more each year, but again, there are months with 6 posts in a month, and then none the next month. Obviously, the consistency is off, and it’s something which I’ve been missing so far.

So after a careful consideration and prioritizing on many levels, I’ve now decided to write 1 post each week! Blogging is simply something which I enjoy doing and it shouldn’t be a “burden”. I still have my kids, friends, family, work, hobbies and sport to think about as well.

This decision is not only coming from a desire for consistency but also from understanding and embracing the importance of maintaining a healthy balance in life as I explained in my post How do you balance work & Home life? Setting clear boundaries, focusing on health. prioritizing, time management and planning are now keystones in my life. So here’s to weekly blog posts: Because life’s too short to commit to a specific day! 😂
