New Ransomware: Cactus

Security researchers have discovered a new kind of ransomware called “Cactus”. This one is active since March and is an unique one since it will encrypt itself to evade antivirus making it harder to be discovered says Bleeping Computer. While this focuses on vulnerabilities of Fortinet VPN appliance at this moment, its not hard to think that this will be used on a larger scale.
